Big Island Jet Center

North Kona, Hawaii

SCOPE \ COMPONENTS
Big Island Jet Center is an independent fixed-base operator at the south end of Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keāhole (KOA). The design for the 15.5-acre complex includes a 7,000-square-foot executive terminal, more than nine acres of private ramp space and a 50,000-gallon fuel storage facility.

The terminal’s open layout incorporates passenger waiting areas and conference space, giving travelers and flight crews places to relax, meet and work between flights. Two 35,000-square-foot hangars for aircraft storage are planned for a second phase.
